About Marta’s Creative Corner
Welcome to Marta’s Creative Corner, a small, friendly childminding setting in Harlow. I’m Marta, an Ofsted registered childminder, and I offer home-from-home childcare for babies and young children in a safe, cosy family home.
I opened Marta’s Creative Corner because I love working with children and watching them grow in confidence. My aim is simple: to give every child a warm place where they feel happy, secure and free to be themselves. Parents often tell me that their children can’t wait to come back the next day, which is the best feedback I could wish for.
At Marta’s Creative Corner, play and creativity are at the heart of our day. We paint, draw, build, bake, read stories, sing songs and explore lots of different textures and materials. I plan activities around each child’s interests and stage of development, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) so they are learning through play without even realising it.
We spend plenty of time outside too. When the weather allows, we play in the garden, go for walks and visit local parks in Harlow. I believe fresh air, space to move and time in nature are just as important as indoor toys and books.
Because this is a small, home-based setting, I really get to know each child and family. I work closely with parents, sharing updates and listening to what matters most to you. Together, we support your child’s routine, comfort items and any special needs or preferences they may have.
